WORCS Championship Round 3 | February 27, 2016 | Las Vegas, NV

I wouldn’t say I was overly nervous coming into the third round of the 2016 WORCS series, but
with so many racers (we had over seventy bikes total in the pro race) on such a tight course, and with an abbreviated race-length compared to the normal two hours, I felt it opened up the possibility for more things to go wrong than right. Having said that, I was in a pretty positive frame of mind; no matter how unpredictable the conditions, I knew that allowing any negative thoughts or emotions to creep in would make it easier for mistakes to happen. MTA has really upped the ante for this year’s 2-Stroke World Championships! Included in the March 26th program is $10,000 in purses for the Open Pro and 125 Pro Classes ($8,000 to the open pros and $2,000 to the 125 pros); a fantastic tricked-out Yamaha to be raffled-off to one lucky entrant, a huge Monster Energy Freestyle Show, vendor displays and of course great 2-stroke racing for all classes and all levels!
