Valcourt, Québec, January 5, 2009 – BRP recently announced a contingency program that will make available more than USD $117,000 for Can-Am ATV racers in the World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) this season. The money is part of the 2010 Can-Am X-Team Contingency Program, which has earmarked more than USD $1.6 million, making it one of the most extensive ATV contingency programs in North America. The program pays out to third place and offers a championship bonus for 24 classes in the WORCS ATV series.
The classes covered are: Pro, Pro-Am, Production A, Open A, Production A, Women A, 15-29 A, Vet 30+ A, Master 40+ A, Stock A, Open B, Production B, Women B, 15-29 B, Vet 30+ B, Master 40+ B, Stock B, Senior 50+ and Utility ATV. Each eligible participant in the program will receive earned contingency in the form of a cash payout via check.
