The Popular Ryno Institute “Elite Training Facility” Expands Into Auto Racing
Temecula, Ca – Legendary Motocross Racer turned trainer Ryan “Ryno” Hughes has teamed up with Rally Car Racer Ken Block to prepare Block for his ambitious racing agenda in 2010. Ken Block is the 2005 Rally America Rookie of the Year, X Games 12 Rally Racing Bronze Medalist, and completed a 171 foot jump in his then Subaru Rally Car, amongst his many racing accomplishments.
The DC Shoes Founder, Block, has taken on some exciting challenges for 2010. He will be the first American to campaign the World Rally Championship and will do so in a Ford under the Monster Energy World Rally Team. He will compete in his 5th X Games as well as the Rally America Series. This schedule is similar to the schedule Hughes kept during his tenure as a professional Motocross Racer.
Ryan Hughes has been involved in the sport of motocross for over 23 years. A California native, Ryan has endured many different types of racing and has had one of the best racing careers anyone could hope for in the industry. He has an indisputable reputation as being a hard worker, always giving 110% to his daily regime and to his racing career. Now that Ryan has retired from the racing aspect of motocross, he is turning the tables to give back the knowledge he has attained over the past two decades.
“I am extremely impressed with Ken’s natural talent and what he has accomplished so far in his racing career. I’m proud to help bring it to the next level.” said Hughes when asked how he felt about the new partnership.
“My main objective for 2010 is to develop into a competitive driver for 2011 and beyond.” said Block through his website kenblockracing.com. He will do so with the help of Hughes as his personal trainer. Hughes is set to attend the races with Block to help with both the physical and the mental demands of professional racing. Ken Block has shown the same intense drive and determination in his business and his racing as Hughes did, so the partnership came very naturally. “I wanted a trainer that has been a racer, and that is what I got with Ryno.”
