Letter from Sean Reddish-I hope that everyone is enjoying the break and recharging your racing batteries. What a championship season we are having! The amateur ranks of racers have been competitive and watching the 50cc and 65cc classes race this year has been a tremendous amount of fun. We have challenged the kids with more off-road to get them ready for the next step. The parents are always nervous but the kids just love it and the stories are very unique.
As we get ready for WORCS Bike Week the event is really taking shape. The entire week will be filled with activities. Check out the event page on the website for details. There will be RC car races, yoga classes in the morning, movie nights centered around the Twilight series (since we are near the town of Forks, WA), and organized road bike and mountain bike rides. All of this will be free! If you are looking for things to do in the area, travel brochures will be available at the gate. The Duck tour around town was a big hit last year.
Whatever your plans, we hope all of you have a great summer. The 2011 schedule is a work in progress and we will let you know the details as soon as possible. Have a great summer and hopefully we will see you in the woods of Washington for Round 7!
