Exclusive Interview with Brian Evans over at Spiked Industries
We met Brian Evans during the ATV DWT series and also at the Indy Dealer show this year and we were impressed with what Spike Industries has been bringing to the Off-Road Industry. After many emails we finally got some time to get to know more about Spiked Industries as we sat down with Brian Evans for a quick chat.
RPM: When did spike industries get started?
Brian: Spiked was founded in 2007 as I was starting college, it began in my parents spare bedroom with money I used from school loans because I couldn’t get business financing at 19.
RPM: What got the ball rolling for Spiked Industries?
Brian: I started in the ATV industry making graphics kits and decals for riders ( i was a rider myself) and then slowly began to build my client base.
RPM: How are you doing in this day and age?
Brian: Now 3 years later in 2010 Spiked has expanded to having an on site team of 3 people doing sales, design and marketing in a 1500 sq/ft office in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
RPM: What makes Spike Industries so different:
Brian: We have a whole list of established vendors to ensure that my clients get exactly what they want no matter the request.
RPM: What does the future bring for Spike Industries?
Brian: Spiked has shifted from the retail graphics company it started as to more of a business to business marketing resource only since all of our designs and marketing efforts are custom tailored per client.
RPM: What are your typical clients?
Brian: Our typical client ranges from a marketing budget of $600/ month to International franchises with marketing budgets exceeding $80,000/ month.
RPM: What can we expect in 2011?
Brian: Spiked will be expanding in the next year to a bigger office with more employees as clients continue to sign on with us.
