The AMA National Hare & Hound series returned to Lucerne Valley, California for round number 6. The Vikings MC tested the racers on 80 miles of fast, rocky terrain. Kendall’s race started off with a slow start, having a multiple Kick start, leaving him to play catch-up right off the start. Kendall quickly made his way to the front runners thanks to the extremely windy conditions blowing the dust aside and his Pro Circuit suspended CRF450X. At the Halfway point Kendall trailed 1st place by mere seconds. When the dust cleared on the second loop, Kendall would race his Eric Siraton prepped Honda CRF450X across the finish line with a commanding lead on the competition.
Colton Udall had a great ride and finished a solid 6th despite losing his rear brake from a bent disc on the second loop.
“I would like to dedicate this win to Justin ImHof. Today was the first time I have seen him since his accident. I would also like to dedicate this win to my friend that passed away at this event last year. Big thanks to my Team at JCR, pit crew, Bones at Pro Circuit and all our Team sponsors.”
— Kendall Norman
“This win is a coalition of my Team’s hard work and effort. Kendall rode fast and smart, sticking to our strategy. Eric Siraton did a great job with the race bike prep as always. Thanks to our pit crews, sponsors and Bones from Pro Circuit for helping us to dial in the handling.”
