JCR/Honda wins the 2010 “24 Hours of Glen Helen” endurance race!

The 2010 “24 hours of Glen Helen” endurance race took place over the weekend. This year’s JCR/Honda team consisted of Colton Udall, Timmy Weigand, Nick Brozovich and Benny Breck. As we come to the end of the 10th year anniversary tour, I think back to all the years behind us and the years in front of us yet to come. There have been so many champions and great stories along the way. As many of you know, I came to WORCS as just another racer like all of you. MEMORIAL MONUMENT IN HONOR OF RECENT CALIFORNIA 200 RACE CRASH VICTIMS TO BE UNVEILED AT 2010 LUCAS OIL OFF-ROAD EXPO ON SATURDAY, OCTOBER 9

Victims Family Members to Join in Unveiling Ceremony Held in Conjunction with Opening of Expo

WHAT: Off-Road fans, racers, volunteers and friends and family members of the victims will gather on opening day at the 2010 Lucas Oil Off-Road Expo for the unveiling of the California 200 Memorial Monument, a large scale statue designed to honor the victims of the recent desert race accident where eight were killed and 12 injured. This unveiling will give families of the victims, supporters, friends and the entire off-road community an opportunity to reflect on this terrible tragedy. The monument is comprised of comprised of stainless steel and is eight feet tall. The public can all make their mark on the monument as well by signing the adjacent wall to show their support for victims and their families. Team MCR/Maxxis Rides Razrs to WORCS Success

With Beau Baron and Josh Row in second and third places for the Pro class, Davi Haagsma locking up the Pro Am championship and Julie Russell a sure bet for the Women A title, the members of Team MCR have been an unqualified success in this year’s WORCS series.

Kendall Norman Wins 4- more D-37 races in one weekend – Clinches 2010 AMA D-37 Title!!!

Over the past weekend the Sunland Shamrocks MC Club put on the challenge for the D-37 competitors. They held a “Dual-Dual” European scramble staged at the famed Slash-X Café just to the south of Barstow, California. 2-days of racing and 2-races per day in what was seemingly the hottest weekend of the year. JCR/Honda’s Kendall Norman and his CRF450X were on the gas, winning 4 out of 4 races in the open class. The final race of the weekend proved to be the toughest, as the competition stepped it up and gave him a run in the early part of the race. A very determined Kendall Norman would once again prove that he is the toughest, fastest racer in the desert taking his 4th overall victory for the weekend.

In 2006 he was invited to the race, as a spectator, by partners of AGM; Armin was immediately hooked. Since then, Armin and Martin have won 1st in class in 2008, 2009 and now 2010.
