KTM, the market leader in offroad motorcycles has signed Roger DeCoster, one of the true icons of the sport of motocross to take over the management of the company’s new factory team in the USA. Work now immediately begins to prepare the team for the 2011 racing season in all of the major US competitions.

The RANCH-New Motocross facility set to open in August on the 20, 21 & 22 in Anza, California.

The Ranch ImageThis 700-acre facility will be called “The Ranch” and is designed and built by Marc Peters of Petersbuilttracks.com.

Five (5) Motocross tracks with terrain for all rider’s capabilities and equipment, from the Main track with four-five lines through every corner and 36 ft wide straight a ways. That’s right, the Breezewood Proving Grounds is holding a 4 day and 3 night Motocross training camp at the park this August 2nd. We will have professional riders and trainers on hand working with riders on all aspects of motocross racing.

Track News: Breezewood Proving Ground

Ask anyone who’s been to the Breezewood Proving Grounds before and they’ll say it’s the best all around motocross park in the Northeast. Dan Harris (#584) has created tracks that cater to the absolute beginner (Pee Wee) as well as the advanced technical rider. All tracks are Motocross with doubles, tabletops, triples, step-ups and high banked berms and are groomed and watered regularly, and track layouts change often. All the tracks are open to both motorcycles and quads – all day practice… everyday! The park offers much more than just riding. There’s a swimming pond with a huge water slide, diving board, floating dock and much more. There’s full hook-up and primitive camping, hot water shower houses, cabins and a dining facility to ensure your stay at the Proving Grounds is comfortable and relaxing after a hard day riding. July 15, 2010 – Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, site of the 1932 Olympic Games and birthplace of the sport of Supercross in 1972, is back in the mix for X Games 16! The grand old stadium takes center stage as the world’s best motocross racers battle for the gold on July 29-31. The Moto X Super X (formerly known as Moto X Racing) competition is set to include men’s, women’s and adaptive athlete classes. It all kicks off at the Coliseum, Thursday July 29 at 3pm. Kendall Norman takes his win streak to 13 in a row with a sweep of the AMA D-37 RUTS weekend!

Kendall Norman and Honda CRF450X have been on fire. It was no surprise for him to put in a dominating performance at the RUTS 23rd annual Meltdown Dual European Scrambles this past weekend located at Cougar Buttes in Lucerne Valley, CA. Saturday’s race consisted of 4 laps around a 10.5 mile high speed loop. Kendall took control of the race after the bomb and held it to the finish winning by over 5 minutes. Sunday’s race was 3 laps around a 12.5 mile technical course. Kendall grabbed the holeshot off the bomb and led it wire to wire finishing with a sizeable lead over second place.
