Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Justin Soule and Ricky Dietrich showed their speed on the rough and sandy track as each rider took his first podium spot of the season, finishing second and third, respectively, at the second round of the WORCS series at Stateline in Primm, Nev. Teammate Destry Abbott finished ninth after a hard month battling the flu. Along with the team riders finishing in the top-10, Kawasaki grabbed six of the top-10 spots with Jonathan Davis in sixth, Gary Sutherlin in seventh, and Robby Bell in eighth. Pro 2 class rider Ryan Abbatoye demolished the competition the whole weekend with a dominating victory in both Saturday’s 450A race and Sunday’s Pro 2 main event. Read the rest of this entry »

Round #2 of the WORCS Bike Series was at the same location at the same time on a completely different track right next to the ATV track, with one small exception. The Bike and ATV during the Pro Race would be entering the Pro Pits on one end and exiting at the following end. Meaning the Quads and the Bikes were racing side by side on the same course for a short period of time.

The ATV racing at Round #2 of the WORCS series was some of the best racing that we have seen in a long time. The top 4 places were within 2 seconds of each other for most of the race. MCR’s Josh Row (#5) would get the early lead, but Beau Baron (#1) also of MCR would get around Row early on in the race. Yamaha’s Dustin Nelson (#94) would then battled with Row for several laps, eventually getting around Row and setting his sites on Baron. Info on this weekends Race in Primm
The two race tracks for this weekend are now complete and we are extremely pleased. The desert terrain behind Buffalo Bills has provided us with a 5.2 mile ATV course and another separate 5 mile motorcycle course. The ATV course will use the CORE truck track and the surrounding desert and the motorcycle course is 100% desert. A large portion of the desert course has been left virgin and the other half is cut very similar to Racetown 395’s off road. Menifee, Ca: 2/19/10– Monster Energy/Factory Kawasaki’s Ricky Dietrich arrived in Piramer, Argentina early this week to start his pre-week training and run for Argentina’s largest annual Enduro Beach Race known as “Enduro Del Verano” (Summer Enduro). This is by far one of the largest Enduro Beach races in the World and Dietrich podiumed here in 2009 and is looking to take the win for 2010. Team Manager- Jason Smigel and Factory Kawasaki mechanic- Jeff Decker made the 6100 mile trip to assist Dietrich in taking home this Summer title. Read the rest of this entry »
