Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Announces New Southern California Location – Glen Helen Raceway

(May 25, 2010) – Today, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series announced that the August 7th and 8th, Southern California event, will be held at the legendary Glen Helen Raceway. The landmark facility in San Bernardino, California, has an extensive history of off road and motocross racing while hosting a multitude of national and international events.

Lucas Oil Executive-Vice President, Bob Patison, spoke on the agreement as preparations are already underway for the August race. “Over the years, Bud Feldkamp has built Glen Helen into a world class destination for motocross and off road racing. With this partnership, we are able to work together to build a unique, new, short course off road race track on the Glen Helen site that will have all of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing signature features that keep fans on their feet race after race. May 19, 2010 – Woodcliff Lake, NJ – Husqvarna Motorcycles NA is proud to announce the addition of Jeff Konicke as the new Dealer Relations Representative for the western region. In this new role, Konicke’s primary responsibility will be to manage the ever growing Husqvarna Dealer network in all aspects of dealer support, including sales, after sales and service. Traxxas has come on board to sponsor three rounds of the Motorcycle series for a the Traxxas Triple Crown. Honey Lake, Glen Helen and Mesquite will locations for the triple crown. This should be very exciting in the pits and a whole lot of fun. Bring your Traxxas car and have fun on the custom built track. The Traxxas semi will be at all three events. Triple Crown Awards given at the year end banquet. The snow was falling yesterday here at Honey Lake and with the spectacular weather reports for this weekend we are in for a treat. Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series to Make CBS Debut – This Saturday – 5pm Eastern

Lucas Oil Off Road RacingCorona, California (May 5, 2010)-  This Saturday, May 8th,  the door to door, fender mashing action of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series is making its CBS debut at 5pm Eastern Time (2pm Pacific). This premier national short course off road racing organization features eight hundred horse powered, purpose built trucks racing door to door on motocross style tracks. Highlighting action from Round Four of the Magnaflow Exhaust Off Road Nationals in Surprise,  Arizona, the mile long course at the Speedworld facility features challenging terrain and action at every turn. Carl Renezeder, the defending Champion in both the Pro 2 and Pro 4 unlimited truck classes, faces stiff competition from Rick Huseman, Ricky Johnson , Rob MacCachren with a host of short course off road talent as he races to defend his pair of titles.

JCR/Honda Baja 500 pit service

jcrlogoJCR/Honda rolls out first-class racing support to Honda mounted riders at the 2010 SCORE Baja 500. A program called JCR/Honda Pits, first started by American Honda in the 1980’s. The program has become an essential component for Honda mounted Baja competitors because the speed and efficiency of a pit stop can make or break your race. A Baja 500 can require as many as 10 pit stops, roughly 60 miles apart. Each pit contains an assortment of spare parts and maintenance items, as well as fuel.
