DESPITE LONG ODDS AND SLOW STARTS,Husqvarna Riders Race To Top 10 Finishes

husq_blue_logoMarch 26, 2010 – Woodcliff Lake, NJ – Husqvarna racers beat mother nature and long odds to bag a couple top 10 finishes. U.S. Desert Racing Association #1 plate holder Nick Burson battled a bad three-kick start and extremely dusty conditions near Murphy, Idaho, while Glenn Kearney was in the woods for a very muddy GNCC round this past weekend. When all was said and done, Nick nabbed ninth in the AMA National Hare & Hound and Kearney overcame a mid-race collision to come back up to sixth in round #3 of GNCC series at Steele Creek, West Virginia. Who to Watch in Havasu WORCS Bikes Race

Kurt Caselli is an obvious choice for another WORCS win. He has always been fast at Havasu and he was absolutely untouchable at round 2 in Primm. Caselli is also the point’s leader and will be looking to the WORCS Championship and may settle for a podium if the leader is far out of reach. Ricky Dietrich has finished 5th and 3rd so far this season and is second in the title chase; he’ll be looking for a win and is the defending Havasu Champ. Ricky D shines on the lake course. GLEN HELEN DROPS OUT OF AMA NATIONALS

There has been long negotiations between MX Sports and Glen Helen Raceway in regards to the event. As a previous host of more than 14 AMA Nationals and three GP’s over the last 20 years, Glen Helen has proven to be a world class venue (and so do the fans who have flooded the gates in large numbers over the years). His original idea was then sent to LTE Racing to be manufactered by a high quality aftermarket ATV Exhaust company. They themselves where blown away at the power increase of this little jewel. From that time till now it has went through dyno testing and races for testing to make sure it was ready.  The 800 intake is available for the Outlander and Renegade series. Haagsma ready for ITP/Moose Racing ATV MX debut…….

Another big win for JCR/Honda at this past weekend’s SCORE San Felipe, Baja 250. If you have ever had the chance to ride around San Felipe, Baja Mexico you know that the area’s whooped out, washed out and rocky terrain is among the worst on the planet. With a terrific effort, JCR/Honda’s Colton Udall and Jeff ‘OX’ Kargola riding the 3x Honda CRF450X, crossed the finish line in first place! The celebration erupted as Colton Udall and OX relished in the triumph of a hard fought race. The JCR/Honda 1x Honda CRF450X bike was ridden solo by Kendall Norman and came out swinging. maxxis_logoGlen Helen Raceway is very excited about the new title sponsor of the first ever Endurocross at Glen Helen, Maxxis Tire. Glen Helen debuted its new Endurocross track at the Prairie Dog GP on March 6th. Although the rain came down, the event was very successful and had a great review.

The track took over three months to complete. It has all the obstacles you can image from rocks, sand, logs and a steep hill. The Glen Helen staff did a wonderful job on the track and this will be a event you will NOT want to miss!!!! Read the rest of this entry »
