BRP COMMITS MORE THAN $117,000 IN CONTINGENCY CASH FOR WORCS ATV RACING IN 2010
January 6th, 2010Valcourt, Québec, January 5, 2009 – BRP recently announced a contingency program that will make available more than USD $117,000 for Can-Am ATV racers in the World Off-Road Championship Series (WORCS) this season. The money is part of the 2010 Can-Am X-Team Contingency Program, which has earmarked more than USD $1.6 million, making it one of the most extensive ATV contingency programs in North America. The program pays out to third place and offers a championship bonus for 24 classes in the WORCS ATV series.

The DWT World ATV MX Championship series head to Glen Helen Raceway in San Bernardino, CA this weekend for Round 3 and 4 of the (8) round series. The opening round was claimed by (2) east coast riders, #44-Chad Wienen riding his Motoworks Can-Am machine to a 1-1 finish in the opening round. However Sunday’s round would see a new winner atop the podium with the Honda of #20 Josh Upperman of Balwin Motosports dominating the field and taking the 1-1 clinching Round 2.
