Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Announces New Southern California Location – Glen Helen Raceway

(May 25, 2010) – Today, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series announced that the August 7th and 8th, Southern California event, will be held at the legendary Glen Helen Raceway. The landmark facility in San Bernardino, California, has an extensive history of off road and motocross racing while hosting a multitude of national and international events.

Lucas Oil Executive-Vice President, Bob Patison, spoke on the agreement as preparations are already underway for the August race. “Over the years, Bud Feldkamp has built Glen Helen into a world class destination for motocross and off road racing. With this partnership, we are able to work together to build a unique, new, short course off road race track on the Glen Helen site that will have all of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing signature features that keep fans on their feet race after race. Huseman Dominates Pro 4 Unlimited in Surprise, Arizona

(April 22, 2010) – Sunny skies and a packed house welcomed the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series back to Speedworld in Surprise, Arizona for rounds 3&4 of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series. The weekend was marked with tight door to door racing action combined with the chaos and mayhem on the track that comes from full fields of mega-horsepowered offroad machines flying through the air competing for limited space on the tight and technical Arizona battlefield at Speedworld.

(March 4, 2010) – On March 6th and 7th , the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series will be in Las Vegas, Nevada as the 2010 short course off road racing season kicks off at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. With an unprecedented group of entries making their way to Las Vegas for this event, the new track in Las Vegas will host some of the largest fields ever seen on the short course off road racing circuit.

Carl Renezeder completed his 2009 season by taking championships in both the Pro 2 and Pro 4 Unlimited truck classes. WORCS is the only championship available right outside your back door! For the first time, the schedule for the rapidly approaching 2010 World Off-Road Championships has been designed logistically to save racers money. The plan is to have the WORCS races in neighboring west coast cities such as San Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas, San Francisco, and Los Angeles, while including the furthest race only as far as Straddling, Washington. ITP 6 Hour Endurance Rescheduled for 12/19/09

ITP 6 Hour Endurance Rescheduled for 12/19/09
Due to over 5” inches of rain last weekend, the ITP 6 Hour Endurance Race has been reschedule from December 13th to this Saturday, December 19, 2009.

The event will start at 9am to 3pm on Saturday.  The course should be awesome since we did have a large amount of rain that should help out the course after a few days of dry weather.

Gate fees $10 adult and children 6-12 yrs $5.  Entry fees are $90 per team 3 riders and two bikes per team, or $45 for the Ironman class.

Rockstar Energy/Lucas Oil Challenge Cup Rescheduled

Corona, California (December 7, 2009) – Today, it was announced that the Rockstar Energy/Lucas Oil Challenge Cup originally scheduled for December 11th and 12th 2009, is being rescheduled for December 18th and 19th due to inclement weather. “The strong rain storms expected in the area throughout the week will likely cause difficult conditions that would compromise this event. By rescheduling the race just one week, it will give us the opportunity to host a fantastic race for the fans both in attendance as well as the NBC audience,” said Competition Director Tony Vanillo.
