 Irvine, Calif. (December 5, 2011) – Monster Energy Kawasaki’s off road team headed south of the border to Tecate, Mexico, for the 2011 Tecate Hare Scrambles, and dominated the event. Racers battled through two loops, a total of 52 miles, winding through the Mexican desert and over a myriad of challenging obstacles on a tight, single-track course. Despite freezing temperatures and a brief snow flurry, Taylor Robert charged to the front of the field to take the overall win.  This past weekend Lucerne Valley played host to the final round of the 2011 AMA National Hare and Hound series. The AMA National Hare & Hound series returned to Lucerne Valley, California for round number 6. The Vikings MC tested the racers on 80 miles of fast, rocky terrain. Round 6 of the AMA National Hare and Hound series is in the books with a big congratulations to Kendall Norman who pulled out all the stops. Kendall’s plan “holeshot the bomb and don’t look back”. He did exactly that, leading both loops of the 80 mile Lucerne Valley, CA course and finishing 2.5 minutes ahead of second place. Kendall, who already holds the championship points lead, is serving notice that he and his Johnny Campbell Racing Honda CRF450X complete with Dunlop tires, Lucas oil’s, Pro Circuit suspension, pipes and motors all prepped by JCR’s Eric Siraton are here to take care of business.
