 After a long summer break, the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series is back at the Speedworld Off Road Park here in Surprise, AZ. Presenting this weekend’s action will be the fine folks at Canidae All Natural Pet Foods, and while fans are treated to a rousing show at every Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series event, those in attendance this weekend will have several extra reasons to go home with a big smile on their faces.
Kicking things off this weekend will be the pre race party at Buffalo Wild Wings in Surprise, just minutes down the road from Speedworld.  Seth Fargher was invited to sit down with CGN7’s Jon Compton and talk about his involvement in the world of freestyle motocross. Seth shared about his injury and how he’s working back from that as well as brothers Caleb and Colten Moore and their plans for competing in the 2011 Winter X Games. Corona, California (September 21, 2010) – Arizona’s summer may be cooling off, but things around Surprise’s favorite off road park are heating up. The return of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series is creating a lot of buzz around the community. The very exciting short course series has become increasingly popular with locals and motorsports fans across the region for the intense wheel to wheel racing, technical obstacles, high speeds, big airs, and wild crashes.
Rounds 11 & 12 will mark the final visit to Speedworld Off Road Park for the 2010 season and a barrage of promotions have been scheduled by Roland McNew and the Speedworld Marketing Team to ensure another successful race weekend. Colton Udall primed for this weekends Glen Helen WORCS round!
Colton Udall has been a stalker on a mission in 2010. He, along with teammate Jeff ‘OX” Kargola, have earned themselves the points lead for the SCORE series that will culminate this November when the Baja 1000 goes from Ensenada to La Paz. This past weekend Colton lined up for the Pala AMA MX National where he took home 26th place overall with two great rides. Corona, California (September 14, 2010) – As the 2010 Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series turns the page from summer into fall, drivers and teams are sharpening their focus on their championship hopes. Summer saw action in both Tooele, UT, and San Bernardino, CA, where many drivers really hit their stride, and helped the title fights to start taking shape. With two thirds of the season already in the books, just five rounds of racing remain for drivers to make a push towards the crown in their respective classes. KTM, the market leader in offroad motorcycles has signed Roger DeCoster, one of the true icons of the sport of motocross to take over the management of the company’s new factory team in the USA. Work now immediately begins to prepare the team for the 2011 racing season in all of the major US competitions.
