Bobby Bonds Race Report: WORCS Round #4 (Adelanto, Ca)

Bakersfield, Ca- 4/21/10
– Maxxis’ Bobby Bonds made his return to the WORCS series this past weekend, where he would have an up and down weekend but would leave in one piece and look ahead to Honeylake in just 4 short weeks.  On Sunday, Bonds would gate 4th and quickly move into the lead by the end of lap one.  When lap 3 came, Bobby would find himself tipped over in the WORCS Xcross section, just as they began lap 4.  Bonds would remount and start the run back to the lead pack sitting in around 5th.  On lap 5, his day would end early, this time the decision coming from Bonds to pull out rather than prolong the previous shoulder injury from Anaheim 2. CBR Films delivers “Stillwell Performance” (WORCS-Lake Havasu)

Reno, NV: 4/15/10– CBR Films launched their Lake Havasu WORCS video edit today, surrounding the new powerhouse team- Stillwell Performance out of Franktown, Colorado.  Founded in 2006, Stillwell Performance has one mission in mind and that is to build the ultimate off-road dirt bike suspension for where you ride and race. Sold Out Crowds Expected for Lucas Oil Off Road Racing’s Return to Surprise, AZ

Corona, Ca. (April 15, 2010) –  This weekend, April 17th and 18th, the Lucas Off Road Racing Series returns to Speedworld in Surprise, Arizona for rounds 3&4 of the short course off road racing series. The biggest stars in the sport are prepared to take on Speedworld with its fast, technical, mile long course and signature “mogul” section. While Surprise is quickly becoming a popular home to short course off road racing, the facility has expanded its seating areas in anticipation of another raucous, capacity crowd. This event will be the first of three Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series weekends filmed for national broadcast on CBS Sports.

The season opener saw motocross legend Ricky Johnson stake his claim on the 2010 Pro 2 Unlimited field with back to back wins on the tight Las Vegas track. Now, Rob MacCachren, who finished second to Johnson on both days in Las Vegas, will lead the charge to slow down Johnson’s dominance along with Bryce Menzies, Jeremy McGrath, Todd LeDuc and what looks to be the largest Pro 2 Unlimited field ever. H&M’s Haagsma joins Monster Energy

Bakersfield, CA: 4/6/2010- Monster Energy announced the addition of H&M Motorsport’s ATV pilot- Davi Haagsma to their athlete sponsored list this week.  Haagsma, who hails from Bakersfield, Ca will sport the Monster Green Claw on the Kawasaki KFX450 this year in the prestigious AMA ATV MX series as he takes on his first full blown Pro-Am season along with Mike Carfro (MCR Racing) on the Honda in the WORCS series out west.
