 Crawfordsville Triple Play As Team Hendershot Wins The Battle, Yokley Wins The War And Kiger Rounds Things Out For DragonFire
After battling with each other all season long, the GNCC championship came down to the season finale in Indiana for Team Hendershot and William Yokley piloting the National Guard Polaris Coastal DragonFire machine. Although Team Hendershot’s father/son team of Larry and Michael won the last round, Yokley’s calculated second place finish gave him just enough points to win the open modified UTV class in his Ranger RZR XP 900.  Valcourt, Québec, October 26, 2011 – Warnert Racing / Can-Am DS 450 Pro racer Adam McGill stood tall on the all-pink GNCC cancer awareness podium after finishing third in the Pro XC1 class despite gruelling conditions at the Ironman GNCC course in Crawfordsville, Ind.  Andrew Delong finishes third in XC2 Pro Lites at his first race with FAR Husqvarna
October 24, 2011 – Corona, CA – At the Ironman GNCC in Crawfordsville, Indiana, the newest member of the Fred Andrews Racing (FAR) Husqvarna team – Andrew Delong – recorded a podium finish in the XC2 class. Morgantown, W. Va. (October 18, 2011) – Chris Borich doesn’t want to wait. While the Can-Am Grand National Cross Country Series historically concludes at the annual Amsoil Ironman in Crawfordsville, Ind., this weekend’s Ironman will precede the finale at Loretta Lynn Ranch in Tennessee in two weeks, an event rescheduled from earlier in the season due to rain. But Borich could still wrap the title at the Ironman, which only adds to excitement of the event, where the local community joins the GNCC racing nation for a weekend of fall festivities alongside some of the best racing of the year. HUSQVARNA CONTINUES WINNING WAYS
Thomas Takes Ironman GNCC, Kearney Battles Back!
November 1, 2010 – Woodcliff Lake, NJ – Tough terrain is the hallmark of the aptly named Ironman Grand National Cross Country in Crawfordsville, Indiana, but Team Husqvarna riders were able to overcome the challenging conditions and poor starts in the 13th and final round of the 2010 GNCC series. Jason Thomas charged to his third win of the season, this time aboard a Husqvarna TXC250 in the XC2 class, while Glenn Kearney just missed putting his TE310 on the podium, finishing 4th in the premiere XC1 class.
