Top Supercross / Motocross Riders to Compete on ½ Mile Straight Rhythm Track
SANTA MONICA, CA (June 18, 2014) – After a highly successful proof-of-concept late last year, Red Bull Straight Rhythm will return on October 4 as a full competition at Auto Club Raceway at Fairplex. An evolution of the sport of supercross, the event will feature an “unwound” track, where there are no turns, just a 1/2 mile-long straight rhythm section. The ATV racing at Round #2 of the WORCS series was some of the best racing that we have seen in a long time. The top 4 places were within 2 seconds of each other for most of the race. MCR’s Josh Row (#5) would get the early lead, but Beau Baron (#1) also of MCR would get around Row early on in the race. Yamaha’s Dustin Nelson (#94) would then battled with Row for several laps, eventually getting around Row and setting his sites on Baron.
