The Baja Cup Challenge is an off-road competition designed for desert-style trucks and buggies that pits man and machine versus a 4.5 mile natural and man-made race course.

Corona, California (December 7, 2009) – Today, it was announced that the Rockstar Energy/Lucas Oil Challenge Cup originally scheduled for December 11th and 12th 2009, is being rescheduled for December 18th and 19th due to inclement weather. “The strong rain storms expected in the area throughout the week will likely cause difficult conditions that would compromise this event. By rescheduling the race just one week, it will give us the opportunity to host a fantastic race for the fans both in attendance as well as the NBC audience,” said Competition Director Tony Vanillo.
Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series Inaugural Season Champions Crowned
December 4th, 2009Corona, California (November 3, 2009) – The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series concluded their successful inaugural season with the The Geico Powersports Primm Championship Showdown Presented by E3 Sparkplugs at Primm Valley Motorsports Complex in Primm, Nevada. With championships on the line in virtually every competing class, the final round of the short course off road racing series was broadcast on NBC on November 29th. The exciting action leading up to the series finale can be seen on SPEED Saturday, December 5th at 3&4 p.m. ET.

Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series – Primm Championship Weekend
November 11th, 2009LOORRS PRESS RELEASE: Corona, Ca. (November 11, 2009) – The finale of the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS) inaugural season is coming to the Primm Valley Motorsports Complex in Primm, Nevada November 14th and 15th. The series returns to the off road track in Primm, the location of the season opener, where season ending battles for championships in virtually every class will be contested in rounds 11&12.
With his first visit to Primm this year, Robert Naughton immediately struck his claim on the Unlimited Lite field by sweeping rounds 1&2 at the first event. He ultimately relinquished his hold on the class in rounds 9&10 as Chris Brandt, with a season of consistent podium finishes, took the top spot heading into Primm.
